I was raised in northern California and moved down here to attend UC Irvine. I am a Microbiology and Immunology major in my third year and hope to attend medical school after receiving my bachelor’s degree. I have been a lifeguard for five years, one of which I was head lifeguard. In addition, I have taught swim lessons for four years to a wide range of students. When I was six I joined the swim team and continued on throughout high school. I was the captain of the school swim team during my senior year and coached a recreational swim team the following summer. I love to help kids become comfortable and safe in the water while having a good time.
