Carrie

Carrie is a graduate student of Biola University as of May 2008 receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. She has been teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding for Biola University’s Aquatics program since 2004. During the school year, she teaches children from the ages of 5–13 in a multi–subject after–school program. Before attending Biola University, she babysat/taught private swim lessons and was a junior high counselor for her church. Carrie swam on club swim teams from the ages of 7–14 and swam on her high school’s varsity swim team. She is Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and WSI certified. Her hope is that children of all ages learn what is needed to be safe, confident, and skilled in the water and that they have fun at the same time!
