Born and raised in Northern California, I made my way down to Orange County in 2003 to pursue a college degree and have found myself right at home. I tried my fair share of majors during the course of my Biola career–ranging from Nursing to Political Science and eventually Sociology–but wouldn’t trade any of the confusion for the opportunities and experiences they brought me. After graduating from Biola University in May 2007 I immediately began a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential program at Chapman University where I am perusing my dream of teaching, which after years of working in a classroom, will become a reality for me when I finish my program this coming December.
While a degree was my ultimate goal in the last few years, I’ve been fortunate enough to experience a variety of things that have helped me develop not just a job, but rather my passion for children into a career. From years of babysitting, which evolved in to a more lucrative and amazing two–year job of camp counseling teaching rock climbing, canoeing, and water safety, to my current educational path, I see working with Splish Splash as another wonderful opportunity to further develop my passion for teaching and seeing children succeed. I look so forward to working with you and your children and to forming a amazingly enjoyable and trusting partnership while we work towards equipping your family with everything you need to keep yourselves (and your little ones) water safe and happy!
