Christy

Christy has been living in La Mirada four years now and is a recent graduate of Biola University, holding a degree in English and Secondary Education. She plans to become a Junior High or High School teacher, but loves teaching lessons in her spare time. She has been loving water since infancy and swam in her club and high school swim teams for over eight years. Christy has been working with Biola Aquatics for four years and has three years experience of teaching swim lessons. She also Lifeguards open swim and private parties. She is certified through the Red Cross in Lifeguarding, CPR, AED, and Water Safety Instruction. A part of Christy’s joy in teaching swim lessons is being an integral part in assisting a child/teenager/adult to overcome his or her fear of water and learn to love the experience!
